Excellent Economic Analysis

In addition to Russ Roberts and Don Boudreaux at Cafe Hayek, there’s Marginal Revolution with Tyler Cowen and Alex Tabarrok. Tyler had a nice post last week on why not to be too alarmed about the falling dollar. (Since I tend to be a net importer of Euro-priced goods, however, it’s not good news for me.)

(Another good source of economic analysis is the Washington Post’s Robert Samuelson, whose columns I almost always find enlightening.)

Hi Tom
wonderful blog you’ve got… so you are a net importer of euro priced goods? What are you exporting these days? And Tyler’s postings on the euro have been the greatest help in my own investments.
Best
Chris

Hello, Chris!

Mainly I export non-interest bearing financial instruments (dollars) and import travel services, food, and clothes from the Eurozone. (I keep the Tracht industry alive, which is why I used to be mistaken for the Austrian Ambassador in Washington.)
