Mario Vargas Llosa, one of the most important literary figures on the world scene today, spoke last Thursday at the American Enterprise Institute. His speech, Confessions of a Liberal, is well worth reading.

Mario Vasgas Llosa says that "...liberalism is not an ideology..." Can we say the same thing about libertarianism? Is there something wrong with libertarianism or classical liberalism being an ideology?

Sorry, Juan Carlos. You've posed a very interesting question. I'll think about it and see if I've got anything interesting to say. (I've been rather snowed under with work and other responsibilities lately.)
