Another Victim of Our Irrational War on Drugs: Puppies

I rather think that this bit of news helps to make the case for ending the War on Drugs:
“The organization’s outrageous and heinous smuggling method of implanting heroin inside puppies is a true indication of the extent that drug dealers go to make their profit,” said Special Agent in Charge John Gilbride in a written statement.

I saw this story on CNN while at the gym. They reported at how people were outraged that someone would use cute and cuddly puppies for for drug smuggling.

It's a shame that most people's outrage is directed only at the drug runners and not at the government policy that makes it profitable.
