Free Kareem

Nabil_Karim.jpg A young Egyptian blogger who has participated in programs of our Arabic liberal project, Abdelkareem Nabil Soliman, was arrested today. Some of the details are available at FreeKareem.org. When writing letters to Egyptian officials, please be respectful and polite. It is important that the authorities not feel insulted and that they not lose face by freeing this young man. I will be contacting the Egyptian authorities and I hope that others will, as well. Again, please be respectful and polite.

UPDATE: I have found online the following information for the Egyptian Embassy to the U.S.:

Such brave people should not be abandoned. Thank you for thinking of us as we live under a police state.
