November 3, 2007Nasty and Uncalled ForI saw this on the TV at my gym and I was shocked. “Flake”? He may have dodged the Social Security question, and his views may be unusual in politics, but he was certainly straightforward on most issues, notably the war. Ya, he kinda gave a standard politician's answer on Soc Sec - didn't wanna come out and say he would free us from the monster. But none of the other Republicrats will touch the issue either. You're right, tho - Flake isn't the word they'd apply to other candidates who have truly flakey ideas, like putting old sick people in jail for smoking pot, attacking Iran, and stealing other peoples property.
