My colleague Diogo Costa, editor of Cato’s OrdemLivre.org, has a great interview (I can’t understand more than a bit, but the language is so beautiful) on Manhattan Connection, a major Braziian program.

Porque os brasileiros nao podem falar mais lento?

Diogo e’ do Rio?

I think it is great that Cato has begun this project in Brazil.

Excelentíssimo Dr. Woolsey, (Tom Palmer asked me to address you that way)

Obrigado pelos cumprimentos. Sou do Rio, sim - mais especificamente de Petrópolis, conhece?

E como você aprendeu a escrever em português? Morou no Brasil?

Let me note that our project, OrdemLivre.org, is not exclusive to Brazil. We will spread the ideas of liberty to the whole Portuguese speaking world, including Portugal, Angola, Mozambique, and Portuguese speaking Massachusetts.

And if you have any material that would be interesting to our audience, please let me know.

Thanks again for the compliments.

Best Regards,
Diogo.
